What the Judges Said – This entry demonstrates virtually all of the different techniques in the industry. Obviously multiple paper substances are in the piece. The printer very beautifully printed excellently adjusting as necessary for different weights of stock. Solids all clean. Four color pics clean and believable. Die cutting and binding clean and precise. The Neenah entry encompassed so many printing techniques and processes, and executed every one with perfection. Superior printing with attention to detail down to the smallest elements helped this entry to capture the best of show award.

What the Judges Said – Multiple techniques utilized and all done to perfection. Clean diecutting, folds all clean, not cracked on the carrier sleeve. Clean, sharp foil stamping. Excellent die cutting, effective embossing, good perfect binding, four-color pics clean and all of the cross-overs matched beautifully. UV very beautiful. Mr. Printer …. You should be very proud. This entry took the first runner-up position with its color control match from each brochure to the carrier jacket. Perfect color, precise register and crisp “cross-gutter” alignment of every spread, and complimented with foil stamping and embossing set this entry apart.

What the Judges Said – As judges (and both at one time were pressmen), we really appreciated the clean and rich solids. Die-cutting sheets very clean on edges and wire binding well done. This entry took the second runner-up award because of its strong color, deep & contrasting images, depth of color reproduction, and crisp & perfect die cutting & alignment on every spread. A most challenging project executed to perfection.

What the Judges Said – For 26 years I was a print buyer. This calendar within itself would be a resource relative to the multiple different printing processes. I would have kept it very close to my desk. Fantastic promo! This entry also displayed numerous printing techniques with precision. Spot coating, textured coating, scratch ‘n sniff coating, spot gloss/spot dull UV coating, soft touch coating, combined with good, crisp printing & rich deep black solids pushed this entry past other fine entries. A magnificent print job with many demanding applications.

What the Judges Said – We were very impressed as we opened up the multiple pages gated off the cover. Amazing how the last fold of the cover was perfectly even with the text. No cracking on folds. Background solids through-out text pages clean and the reverses within them very clean. This certainly a keeper!
